Our little girl is almost 1!!!
I can't believe Olivia will be 1 next week!!!! This year has absolutely flown by...It's amazing how much change and growth takes place their first year and she has had a pretty busy one! She has been to the beach, on a plane, had an MRI (long story but she is totally healthy!), an ultrasound, 8 teeth!, says Mama...Hot..Yeahyeah...and Hi!, loves knee-walking but knows how to walk when and if she decides she's ready, met her granddaddy and both her great grandmother's, goes to preschool one day week and loves it!, went to a UGA football game, loves to go for walks and swinging, loves to play in the "dancing fountains" in our neighborhood, Dinosaur Train and Elmo are all the rage in our house, and bathtime makes her cackle out loud with excitement! All in all I'd say we stay pretty busy and our little Livi makes life so much sweeter ;) Mommy and daddy love you peanut!

Olivia took her first plane ride this past weekend to visit her great grandmother Hazel and to meet all of her daddy's family! Grandma Hazel celebrated her 90th birthday and Olivia loved playing with all the cousins!

What a wonderful week it was....
Last week Max and I took Livi on her first vacation! Nana was kind enough to invite us to Ponte Vedra Beach last week and we had a blast! We rented a house on the beach with a pool, hot tub, and great views! Livi got to crawl all over the beach and she LOVED IT!!! She didn't try to eat any of the sand but was definately interested in how all the sea shells tasted! LOL...We got to spend some great time with all of my Aunts, Uncles, cousins, and my Mema. Thanks again Nana and Uncle Scott for a wonderful week of memories!

Livi loved playing in this fountain that flowed over into the pool...it quickly became the "kiddie pool". Nana had fun playing with her "Livi Bug" too!!!
Livi and Emory
Grayson's little brother, Emory, and Livi are only 8 months apart. She had a ball playing with the boys this week! Making some great memories for sure!
Olivia's First Road Trip
Daddy had to work the first part of our trip so Olivia, Aunt Shana, and I headed down first...what a fun trip and Olivia did amazing! Didn't get fussy one time!!!

Well...the year end is going to be here before we know it! Olivia is growing and changing so fast. She is walking all over the living room by holding onto different objects and can climb those stairs like a pro! Her top two teeth are almost completely in and she already has 2 more bottom teeth popping through. We are sooo ready for this "Heat Wave" to be OVER!!! I can't wait for fall so we can spend some time at the playground and go for walks again. Max and I signed her up for a "Parents Morning Out" program at a local Methodist Church this week and she will begin Sept 1st. We will all be going to the beach this weekend for a week with my family and I am so looking forward to seeing Livi play with her 2nd cousins. Should be a fun time and look forward to posting when we return with pics and videos of our little one in the sand!
Playdate
Olivia has a friend named Emily who is just shy of 3 months older. We had a playdate at the "Dancing Fountains" in our neighborhood and the girls loved it! We took them for frozen yogurt afterwards and they had fun blowing bubbles. Love watching these sweet girls together! (Plus us mommies love the "Adult" time!!!)

He had her at "you wanna pretzel?"...it took her a bit to warm up to him but once she was offered food he won her over! Too funny ;-)
Lunch with Poppa
Yesterday Livi and I had lunch with her Poppa! We ate at our favorite kid friendly restaraunt...Chick-fil-A. I love watching her with him...she loves him so much and I know it makes her feel so special to have that one on one time with him. Thanks Poppa for all you do!

Update...
So we have a climber! Olivia climbs all the steps to our third floor all by herself now!!! Can't believe how quickly she is growing and learning. I predict we will have a walker on our hands in 4 weeks...just saying..
She has become such a hugger! She loves to give hugs and wave "Bye-Bye", give "High 5's", and play Peek-a-Boo behind the curtains in the living room. We are gearing up for our Beach Week with my family in a week and I can't wait to see her play with her cousins Grayson and Emory! It is going to be so much fun...will she eat the sand?? We'll see....;-))))

9 Month Update
My oh my how time does fly! I can't believe how quickly we've made it to 9 months! Olivia is growing up so fast and she is so smart! (I'm not biased right?) Here is what our sweet girl is up to now:
Crawling, pulling up on things, saying "Dada" and "MaMa", loves to sing E-I-E-I-O, has one of her top two teeth coming through, waves bye-bye and gives High 5's, loves to be tickled and wrestles with her daddy, her absolute favorite TV shows are Dinosaur Train, Clifford, and Barney; loves to eat anything on mommy's plate, chews on carrot sticks and apple wedges, loves Puffs and crunchy maple cinnamon sticks, favorite songs are "If you're happy and you know it"; "Old McDonald"; "I love you, you love me"; "ABC Song"; and "I'm a little teapot". She went to the doctor today for her 9 month check-up and she is 19lbs, 27 1/2" long, and in perfect health!!! Yay Olivia way to go!!!!!! We are loving her sweet outgoing personality and she is so much fun. We don't know what we did before this sweet girl joined our family ;-)

6 Month Update
I can't believe our sweet little girl is already 6 months old! She is rolling over all the time now and is cutting some more teeth. She had her 6 month immunizations today and she was a real trooper! I was so proud of her ;-) She weighs just over 15 pounds and is 27 1/2 inches long. She still has such a sweet and happy disposition! She loves to stand up and those legs of hers are so strong...i just know she will be walking before we know it! She eats cereal and loves bananas, apples, and pears in it for breakfast..we're also feeding her carrots, sweet potatoes, peas, and spinach and she doesn't seem to be picky much yet. We recently had her 6 month photos made with a good friend of mine Laura McPhail with Chikadeez Photography and she did an amazing job! I can't wait to share those with everyone. Below is a video she put together of the shoot. It is just precious!

A few tidbits about our little punkin...
Olivia is everchanging and growing! She will be going for her 6 month checkup in 3 weeks. She already has 2! That's right 2 teeth on the bottom of her mouth! Her first tooth popped through 3/14 and her second came through last night 3/30! In updating the blog I was looking over some pictures of her and I can't believe how much she has changed over these past few months.
She loves her exersaucer! She reaches out and grabs things now and loves to clap her hands and say "YAY!"..of course she doesn't actually say "YAY!" but we do ;-) Some of her favorite songs are the "ABC" song, the Barney song..."I love you...you love me.." (Thank goodness she doesn't actually watch it!) and she loves the "I'm a little teapot" song.
She definately looks like Max but I am still holding out and hoping for a little of me to start showing ;-). She loves the show "Dinosaur Train" on PBS. And she is beginning to like Caillou...mommy really likes this show so Livi doesn't have much of a choice :-)
We have scheduled her 6 month photo shoot and can't wait to see the pics of our princess! We'll post again when a new discovery has been made....
