Update...

So we have a climber! Olivia climbs all the steps to our third floor all by herself now!!! Can't believe how quickly she is growing and learning. I predict we will have a walker on our hands in 4 weeks...just saying..
She has become such a hugger! She loves to give hugs and wave "Bye-Bye", give "High 5's", and play Peek-a-Boo behind the curtains in the living room. We are gearing up for our Beach Week with my family in a week and I can't wait to see her play with her cousins Grayson and Emory! It is going to be so much fun...will she eat the sand?? We'll see....;-))))

9 Month Update

My oh my how time does fly! I can't believe how quickly we've made it to 9 months! Olivia is growing up so fast and she is so smart! (I'm not biased right?) Here is what our sweet girl is up to now:
Crawling, pulling up on things, saying "Dada" and "MaMa", loves to sing E-I-E-I-O, has one of her top two teeth coming through, waves bye-bye and gives High 5's, loves to be tickled and wrestles with her daddy, her absolute favorite TV shows are Dinosaur Train, Clifford, and Barney; loves to eat anything on mommy's plate, chews on carrot sticks and apple wedges, loves Puffs and crunchy maple cinnamon sticks, favorite songs are "If you're happy and you know it"; "Old McDonald"; "I love you, you love me"; "ABC Song"; and "I'm a little teapot". She went to the doctor today for her 9 month check-up and she is 19lbs, 27 1/2" long, and in perfect health!!! Yay Olivia way to go!!!!!! We are loving her sweet outgoing personality and she is so much fun. We don't know what we did before this sweet girl joined our family ;-)

6 Month Update

I can't believe our sweet little girl is already 6 months old! She is rolling over all the time now and is cutting some more teeth. She had her 6 month immunizations today and she was a real trooper! I was so proud of her ;-) She weighs just over 15 pounds and is 27 1/2 inches long. She still has such a sweet and happy disposition! She loves to stand up and those legs of hers are so strong...i just know she will be walking before we know it! She eats cereal and loves bananas, apples, and pears in it for breakfast..we're also feeding her carrots, sweet potatoes, peas, and spinach and she doesn't seem to be picky much yet. We recently had her 6 month photos made with a good friend of mine Laura McPhail with Chikadeez Photography and she did an amazing job! I can't wait to share those with everyone. Below is a video she put together of the shoot. It is just precious!

A few tidbits about our little punkin...

Olivia is everchanging and growing! She will be going for her 6 month checkup in 3 weeks. She already has 2! That's right 2 teeth on the bottom of her mouth! Her first tooth popped through 3/14 and her second came through last night 3/30! In updating the blog I was looking over some pictures of her and I can't believe how much she has changed over these past few months.
She loves her exersaucer! She reaches out and grabs things now and loves to clap her hands and say "YAY!"..of course she doesn't actually say "YAY!" but we do ;-) Some of her favorite songs are the "ABC" song, the Barney song..."I love you...you love me.." (Thank goodness she doesn't actually watch it!) and she loves the "I'm a little teapot" song.
She definately looks like Max but I am still holding out and hoping for a little of me to start showing ;-). She loves the show "Dinosaur Train" on PBS. And she is beginning to like Caillou...mommy really likes this show so Livi doesn't have much of a choice :-)
We have scheduled her 6 month photo shoot and can't wait to see the pics of our princess! We'll post again when a new discovery has been made....

Happy Baby

This is the sweet little girl I am so fortunate to stay at home and raise! I get to wake up to this every day...life is great!

Little feet

Livi's newest discovery is her feet! She loves pulling on her toes and she's almost rolling herself over while she tugs on them. We're really working with her on rolling over and sitting up.

Our last day...

The last day of our trip we went to Epcot. Max and I love this park and we had a stellar lunch in Japan at their Hibachi grill...but we started off our day with a delicious margarita in Mexico..what a way to end a great trip! It's fun enjoying the parks as an adult but we both look forward to bringing 'lil bit with us and experiencing this through her eyes.

Our One Year Anniversary ;-)

Max and I went to Disneyworld for our anniversary and had a blast...it really is the happiest place on earth! Olivia stayed with her Nana and was a very good girl ;-) We were so proud of her but man...mommy sure did miss her soooo much! Not sure if I can be away from her for that long again!

I'm a big girl now!

Olivia is sitting in her Bumbo seat now! She still "leans" a little but her head strength has really improved and she is growing up so fast....

"Aunt Shana" days...

Every Monday my sister comes over and spends the day with us! Olivia loves her Aunt Shana! ...look forward to the days when we can take her shopping and to lunch for a "Girls Day Out".

Olivia 3 Months

Her personality is really starting to show! She loves music, singing, whistling, and laughing! She really likes the ABC song. She loves getting her diaper changed on her changing table and cackles every time. It's so stinkin cute ;-)! She is sticking her tongue out alot now and loves to lick EVERYTHING!!!! She has figured out her hands and feet but not quite how to get them to do exactly what she wants at the same time...so funny to watch her play!

Our first Christmas

This was our first "married" Christmas together..what a great one it was. And little Olivia was the perfect gift!

Christmas Eve 2010

This year my mom, sister, and brother came over Christmas Eve and stayed the night...little Livi had a great first Christmas! We watched Christmas Vacation and ate yummy appetizers. Santa came over night and left everyone some great gifts! On Christmas Day Olivia's Mimi and Poppa came over for brunch. It was wonderful to have all of our family together for her first Christmas!

Our World is about to change...

Olivia was almost here! This was the day Max and I checked into the hospital to get "the party started" ;-) Olivia made it clear pretty quickly she was the boss...she finally arrived two days (53 hours!) later! But she was worth the wait!
