Halloween 2012

Our little "TINK"!
 Practicing her fairy flying skills!
Every little angel (or fairy) gets her wings...
Walking in the parade with Poppa
Mimi and Poppa with their very own Tinkerbell!
She wasn't quite sure if she was liking this smoke...but she
loved trick-or-treating with daddy!

Georgia Aquarium

Look mommy!!! It's Nemo!!!

Checking out the starfish with daddy
WOW! Beluga whales were pretty cool to Olivia!
Can you tell she's having fun getting close to the penguins?
Waving to the diver cleaning the tank.
Daddy was trying to get her to touch the sting rays but
she would take her hand out as soon as they came close to touching her!
(wonder who she gets that from?)

Zoo Atlanta

Max was on vacation this past week and we decided to do a good 'ole
"Staycation" and hit up the sites our city of Atlanta has to offer.

This pic still makes me a little nervous...here is Olivia with
a lion!
 Looking for monkeys with daddy
The carousel is always a hit! She picked out the
elephant she is riding on.
Riding the choo choo train with daddy is always fun!
Finished up the day at Grant Park with a picnic...
these are the kind of days that make my heart smile!

The Torrence Family annual trip to the Mountains..

This year instead of driving through the mountains we took
Olivia to the Hillcrest Apple Orchard for some fall family fun!
 She milked her first cow!
 This is Buttercup!
The petting zoo was a huge hit!
She was determined to catch this chicken!!
Feeding the baby cow with daddy
Holding a baby chick..this was really fun to watch!
Sliding down the big slide...and I mean this slide was
super high up! I couldn't believe she did this!
Cheering on the pigs at the pig races!
 Our little family :-)
We met up with our friends Jason and Tracy and their boys.
Here are the fall fun kids! Olivia, Holden, and Landon.

Visit with Mema and her cousins

Olivia and I went to visit my Mema the week of her birthday and my cousin Lindsey brought
her boys over for a playdate. They all enjoyed playing together! So sweet watching
our kids play together like we used to!
Grayson was so proud giving his gift to Olivia.
As you can see in the background...Emory was liking
Olivia's gift more than she was! LOL!
Sweet cousins!

Olivia's 2nd Birthday Party

This year's theme was Elmo! We had a blast!

Olivia took Granddaddy by the hand and asked him to sit
with her on the steps and wait for her Mimi and Poppa to come!
So sweet!
Olivia loves her new drum! She is definitely going to be a
music lover!

Apparently we were taking to long to get out the cake and ice cream
because she had to sneak a taste! LOL! That's our girl!
Think she had fun???

Elliott Family Reunion 2012

The first weekend of October every year is my family reunion.
As you can see...Olivia had a blast playing with her Granddaddy!
This is my family: Aunt Diane, Granddaddy, Me, Max, Olivia, Maw Maw,
Ryan, Necia, Morgan, and Molly.

Fall at the Torrence House 2012

We're ready for the changing leaves, trick-or-treaters, and fall fun!
This month Olivia's color is Orange and her letter is "O".

Uncle Blake's Welcome Home Party~

Blake's deployment ended and Olivia couldn't have been more excited to see her Unka Bake! She just wouldn't leave him alone!! LOL...and he loved getting all of her sweet hugs and attention.

Granddaddy comes for a visit with little bit...

Just hanging out with Granddaddy!
Go Dawgs!

Pinterest Projects Fall 2012

This project focused on colors and textures. We mixed up some fun stuff and dipped cotton balls in the colors and then baked them in the oven to make them harden. She thought it was pretty cool!
 Mixing the ingredients for mommy
Dipping the soft cotton in the different colors before baking them and making them hard and rough.
This is a cool trick! Our science lesson was watching the FIREWORKS in the jar! We filled a jar with water, topped it off with veg oil and dropped in colored dye. Once the dye penetrates the oil and enters the water it explodes! Really neat thing to do with kids! Thanks Pinterest!
